I was worried myself. Broke the reverse gear lever last week.
I think I fixed it...damn cheap italian plastic bits.
I can not believe how many pivots and spring levers was housed in this housing. Looked like it was a Michael Angelo contraption just to put pressure on 2 sensors ... one for reverse and one for forward.

A T bar need to be pulled up and back to reverse the car ... which is actuated by spring bars when you pull up and back on t-bar ... which rocks a V type pivot. The pivot has plastic bits that pivot (which broke) and a spring bar where the pivot rotates...The pivot has two flat spots that presses on a forward and reverse presure sensor. And they have this same kind of ****e on a Ferrari and Lambo reverse lever....who the hell designs like this.
To change a broken reverse unit on any of these cars is over a grand.
They should have just designed 2 buttons. One button to reverse and one button to switch to first which just presses the presure sensor on the F1 clutch.
Simplicimo.... the rest you use paddle shift to shift.

The admin stuff on morning of the drive:
- Detailed Google maps are only provided at start point including all turns
- A quick walk through of maps and direction at start point
- The map will have some addresses or weypoints so that if you get lost, those points will stir you back
- If you are lost and do not have a passenger to help with navigation ... roll down your window and wave the car behind to go ahead. Don't lead the people behind you if your blind
- Keep a mental note which car was ahead of you
- Excercise Responsible judgement on safety and traffic rules and regulations. This is a cruise not a race.
- All drives usually start ON TIME. So show up 15-30 mins before start time
- Fill up with gas BEFORE every drive
- Suggest to bring a GPS
- Please excercise responsible driving. Please let me know if anyone in the group does burn outs, fishtails, drifting, driving on the shoulder.
- bring your FRS walkies if you own one
- ask for the leaders phone number

To all ... I need some help with the drive this sunday.

If anyone went to the last pre-drive or if you have another person in the car with you as a navigator please PM and I will provide you my number and email.

We could possibly have close to 20 cars or more. A number of exotics will be out. To manage and keep the group together I will need your help.
I need help by having your car navigate with the Maps I provide and be mid pack. This will keep the cars behind you on track.

Please fill up with your favorite gas prior to the drive.
The closest Shell is a Renforth and Rathburn which is far away from the meeting place.
Just west of the meeting place is a Petro which does have Ultra 94.

holy crap.. was on the 401 heading home after cruise . just passed 410 exit and an accord spun out in a full circle about 4 cars length infront me .. managed to avoid him but not sure if anyone hit him. the highway was busy too
