95% of the roads are far from any urbanized areas so that we don't get into the fiasco like road closures, traffic light, construction area etc like we did last summer in one of the drives.
The preride last week (which was only about 60% of the upcoming April run) had great road conditions, no traffic and an excellent mix of twisties, blind uphills and rolling hills)
I'll scope out the route a week prior for any issues.
Bring a GPS as some quick stops has addresses that you can enter in case you get lost. The roads I scoped out are really fun. Ask any of those guys last week ... specially those roller coaster blind uphills.

Yeessss that was a cluster f&^ck. I totally agree. Everything that could possibly go wrong did. I apologize. Lots of learning from that drive.
Serves me right that I didn't pre-drive the route beforehand and thought the mapped route had no issues based on feedback by those who checked out only small sections of the drive. The other 5 drives I did that summer had no issues.
The route in April is a route I am very familiar with. I personally think it is better than the Burlington ring/snake road route. We pre-drove it 2 weeks ago and the roads were in great condition. https://rennlist.com/forums/rennlist...ta-west-3.html
If you miss it oh well. Hope to see more P-cars out.
cheers.
