Default Fuel Question.. Ultra 94 ?

Just wondering what everyone prefers for the fuel of choice for daily driving.. I have been using Petro Canada's Ulta 95 (used to be Sunoco way back when), but it hurts when paying $1.50 per ltr. Also, is there a real concern with the ethanol content ? your thoughts / advice are appreciated

Only Shell VPower for me. Used to go with Sunoco 94. Switched due to ethanol.

If you read the manual you'll notice the 'warning' concerning the use of ethanol in Porsche's...

Porsche does not recommend the use of ethanol blend petrol in any Porsche models.
SHELL super (VPower) is the only gas sold in Ontario that guarantees no ethanol in it.

Will it actually? Can you be a little more specific, please. I have been using 94 in all my cars for a while. Maybe I should stop.

There is a wealth of info in google , but here is a good one
http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...amage-engine-2
Our cars have various types of plastics/ gaskets / seals that will degrade over time
We should be thankful we have the option , the U. S. has very few stations that offer E free fuel.
Marina's being one source .
Boaters have been affected heavily with engine failure caused by Ethanol

VPower for me as well but sometimes I will use Sunoco 94 if I have to and I know I'll be burning it all off during the day.

What erks me is that there are no pumps where ever I go that are dedicated to the highest grade only. So your stuck putting in and paying for who knows how many liters of the crap stuff that is in the hose before it starts pumping the good stuff.
