Al... what parts are you looking for?

I know Clive normally travels later in the evening but I'm looking at taking the Friday off as a travel day, there is safety in numbers so what is everyone planning?

6 people wow...minvan is great but if guys start buying sets of wheels, seats etc. the space gets used up. The 1st year we took Jim's van we hauled back plenty o' stuff but there was only 4 of us in Jim's full sized van.

I'm going to be a spectator and not looking to purcahse much parts as I would have to determine whether the 997 will stay in the stables or may end up purchasing an older 993 CS.

Hope the swap meet will still be fun to see lots of Porsches and an "excuse" to hang out with like-minded Porsche-philes

Of Course i am going. The last five years i havent bought hardly anything but it is all about the pilgrimage. The trip down the solitude and having quiet time without family. The weather is often bad that time of year going through the mountains, especially after dark in the rain.

I will be going lone gunman as usual but i will see you guys wandering around the parts

Just booked my hotel in anticipation. There are other places but I enjoyed staying there previous years, great quality and service, pretty good restaurants within walking distance, good neighborhood, shopping mall nearby. Takes about 15 minutes to the swap meet. Not the cheapest but the not most expensive either.

Damn, wish I could go - I'd really like to get there on of these years. We're away that weekend though.

If you guys are going, anyone feel like doing some shopping for me? I need a new driver's chair. I'm looking at $3-500 locally for a used one, so if there really are deals to be had there, maybe $2-300? I'm happy to compensate for the pain-in-the-butt factor of loading a chair and getting it back, whatever you think is fair.

I'm going to try and make it.... But definitely driving the Porsche if I go! Half the fun of the weekend is the drive, I think doing it in a van would spoil the experience for me.

On the other hand, if the intention is for parts shopping, a minivan would be ideal!

We should put together a group drive for those interested in sharing the journey down! Was a blast with Mark and Stan 2 yrs ago.

well just arrived .. pretty uneventfull drive down .. lots of rain and thunderstorms forcast for tomorrow .. oh well i brought lots of clothes ...

there is a night club / bar thing in the same plaza as the sheetz and the macdonalds as you enter Hershey .. i might check it out later on for a beer.. ealiest I have arrived in a while so may as well go do something and watch some young tallent to boot..
