Autotraders ad...


Listed as 2001, price is listed as $39950 (which IS about market value.) Different colour. Look at the houses and trees in the background! Mileage way lower at 19803km's. Shows hardtop option in other photo's with this ad. Lists orig 18" rims along" along with 'optional' 19" rims as pictured. Well WHICH is it? Option's come one OR the other - not two sets of rims as an option.

Kijiji ad... Listed as a 2002 at $12950. 36506 km's - Way below market value. 18" rims not mentioned in this ad at all - just 19" rims - nor is hard top pictured or mentioned as included with car? What happen - roll the car, damage the rims and hard top plus body and repaint!!??


Owner also doesn't know what he has in Kijij ad - car listed as 'Tip' with 'paddle' shift (which it is NOT - they're buttons) and listed as 'coupe' instead of 'cab'. Different paint colour, different rag top colour - only mentions 19" rims - but look at the houses in the background and trees again.

Something VERY wrong here. 2001 car pictures taken in fall - has PCA sticker in front window. When I try to click on zoom option on the Kijiji ad - the ad disappears! Photo's taken at different times of the year.

Scammer doing a cut and paste or owner not telling whole story? What are the odd's of same guy running an ad in two different publications, at the same time, with two different colour cab's, different top's, of which the photo's are taken at different times of the year and ad features widely different mileage and prices! Either this scammer is a lot better then most, (as they generally do a real hash job of cut and paste) or something smells of bad omens... Surely the Nigerians aren't getting this good are they?

Now he's changed the price and corrected a few - not all errors. I hope he's just making mistakes on ad's but I really think it's suspicious considering the Autotraders ad...

Definitely the same driveway and house, the hardtop shown in the Autotrader ad is dark blue, which appears to be the same color of the Kijiji ad......, some pix show the same rims between the two cars too.

I do recall seeing the first ad awhile back.

There's got to be a story beyond "His and Hers" pair of Cabs!
