Is it an Acutal Launch/Unvailing? or just going to be in the Showroom to see, coz the cars been there for weeks now...

 

6:30 pm at BCE/Brookfield Place at Front & Bay. Launch and unveil I believe.

 

It's actually not at the dealership, it's at brookfield place and its organized by porsche canada for the canadian launch of the 991. I was told it's by invitation only as it is limited space. DFC contacted me if i was interested in going as they will ask Porsche canada to send me an invite.

I got an invite but couldn't go.

 

in my building but no invite either. saw 2 991's with covers on them and free swag bags for the fortunate few that got invites i guess. saw some investment banker pull up in front for the valet parking in his 997, what a **** - (oh wait i am a banker with a 997!!) cant tell ourselves apart down there

There are 3 of them still in the Brookfield lobby if anyone still interested, including a lime green metallic. They look nice but the "average" 997 driver prob wouldnt notice the difference (although the script across the back is a sure giveaway)

Frankly...when I saw it in Detroit a few weeks ago I was relieved how similar it looks to a 997. I doubt anyone but an owner or a complete car nut would notice...

The Toronto unveiling was not the Canadian release of the car in Canada. Porsche Canada did that On February 2nd in Vancouver (Unless they did another one somewhere else before the 2nd)
