What really irks me are the parents of these degenerate bullies who inflict pain to the "proper" kids.

Could we shine a spotlight on who "raises" these low lifes? Perhaps this will allow society to identify the "root" of the problem and stem the production of these idiots

Yup, couldn't agree more. From what I understand, this dirtbag punk also happens to have a brother who is doing a stretch in the clink for armed robbery. I'm sure the parents would say "but he's a good boy.....

Man...I have an 8 year old girl and her school has what seems to be 1 meeting a month whole school meeting in there gym.This is obviously a huge issue..I hope for the best w Craig and his family..It has to be a tough time

Dumb question perhaps, but didn't someone lift the cell phone for finger prints ? Matching the prints to the potential assailant, therefore less of a need to rely on the eyewitness signed document ? (maybe too many episodes of CSI, where the perp ends up facing justice)

They didn't find any on my phone as I had a cover on it! And it was used after to call 911... So if there were any they were smudged..

Yeah, read this in the news earlier this afternoon. Craig, you were very level-headed in your comments that I read on cbc.ca. Outside the media, is there any doubt whatsoever as to who committed the assault?

I'm not surprised by this.

I guess one of 2 things will come of this:
a) the guy will learn from this, change his ways, and hopefully become a valuable member of society
b) he'll continue as is, in which case he'll probably end up in jail at some point, or maybe lying dead in a gutter somewhere

I believe the brother was caught robbing a Bell phone store in Newmarket. Either he or one of the cops was accidently shot while being arrested.
