This would be true if they sold only 20 911s in November as I believe there were only four 4.0 (might have been 6) for all of Canada and they were no doubt all delivered in November...
Incidentally...there are two for sale. One in BC and one in Quebec.

They are going to find it tough slugging selling 911s in the winter with a new one coming in the spring that will be bigger, faster and with a nicer interior. Maybe a good buy to be had in the spring when the 991s show up on the lots?

darth - that's not what I meant. I wasn't comparing the 4.0 to a base 911. I was commenting that a 997 C2/C4/S will not perform like a next gen 911. So - the current cars in the show rooms will be tough to sell, as most Porsche buyers will know a new one is on the way.
A GT3 RS 4.0 is a limited edition car and will have some collectibility someday, never mind it's outstanding performance. So they will sell, whereas other 997s will be slow to move off the lot. In fact I'm surprised they aren't all spoken for already.

Porsche will need to do something to get rid of the remaining 997s on the lots. The 991 are impressive on paper. Can't wait to see one in real life.
I figured I was missing something.

Three Wheelin'
There will always be traditional Porsche buyers that rush in to buy the last "real 911" just before the new model debuts. I doubt that any 997 will stagnate in the showrooms, especially when buyers see that hideous center console in the 991.
