Hi All, a buddy of mine has a 2009 Audi A4 and it's due for it's 50,000 km service. The former employer used to pick up the service bills but now he's on his own so i advised him the dealership will likely be costly. Anyone know of a decent, honest Audi mechanic in the Yonge/Steeles area? Thanks,

Independent Tuning in East end used to be the shop. I think they are still there.

Just got back into an old A4, so like to know what guys are using now also.

 

Ask for Mark at Independent Tuning. Ex-head Porsche mechanic(Pfaff) and works primarily with Audis, VWs and Porsches. He is very well respected on the Quattroworld.com forum.

Not in the area you mentioned but a very honest and reputable shop is All About Imports in Mississauga (1 km east of Hwy 410 & Eglinton) - Lou Trottier is the owner and he has a dealership trained mechanic to service Audi cars. This shop has been servicing my Subaru for years.

 

If he's willing to come north a bit he can visit Zoltan at Only Audi. He's done some work on my Bimmer and I'd recommend him.

I can vouch for Lou as well, known him for many many years, I trust him enough to send my sister there for work to be done on her car.

In fact Lou drives an A6 wagon now because he has an Audi tech on staff.

I've been going there with my Audis for awhile. Very honest and fair pricing.

 

I've even taken my non-audis to him.

 

Mark is also a BMW enthusiast, owning both 2005 and 2010 M3s as summer toys. However, the daily transport of choice is his trusty Subaru Legacy wagon.

I have known him since the days when we were in "highschool" and he definitely exudes passion for all things automotive till this day.

I have owned over 40 cars over a span of 20 years and he has serviced them all without a hitch.
