Default Lines on the highway :(

Magnesium chloride trucks have been out all across the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. QEW still looks clear between Hamilton and Burlington, but I'm afraid this means it's time to put the old girl to bed for the winter. I was really hoping for one last nice drive.

Road salt - the kind they put down in liquid form

Copied for a webpage

"Magnesium Chloride is considered (by some) as the best total ice-melter that is less corrosive on metal surfaces, protects concrete from spalling, is less toxic and environmentally as safe as Calcium Chloride and much less corrosive than Sodium Chloride (rock salt)."

Eventually destroys it. With something like 80% of 911's produced still on the road, Porsche is promoting winter driving. Ya can't make money if everyone stores their car 'cause they last forever!

Pre-1976 bodies aren't galvanized, which means absolutely no salt.

You only go around the track once.... in life...

I say - let's drive our cars. We live in Canada. It snows here.

I love my 21 yr old 964 C4 more than anything (except for my wife and son), and I can't wait for winter wonderland.

I'm so tempted to get snows for the 928, I hate my daily driver so much.
