Default Battery Tender from Canadian Tire?

Was shopping at Canadian Tire yesterday and saw a Moto Master battery tender at 60% or so off. Been looking for a tender and brought it as the price is just
In general I find Moto Master products are not that great but for a battery tender how bad can it be?
Would you guys feel comfortable using it over a $160 Porsche one?
Thanks!

i had one like that for years and used it on my Porsche , never had an issue .. it was a small one I used to charge my motorcycle battery with and tend my Porsche battery with .
I even charged my dead battery from scratch once with it ( 1 amp) coz i loaned aout my big one. Took like a week but it worked great. light would be orange then turn green when charged. I still have it actually and have it hooked to my Audi All winter.

I use one that is made by Delran. Not much bigger than a cell phone recharger.Works great.I don`t leave it on all winter.Maybe let it run 1 weekend a month.
I bought it online from a bike shop in Oshawa.I think $29.95.

Motomaster Eliminator Intelligent Battery Charger, 2A
Product #11-1506-6
$19.99 I bought mine on sale for about $15
just roll down the passenger window a crack
plug in the cigarette lighter
i leave the charger in the rear passenger side foot well
hang the power wire on the coat hook hanger
I run this in the winter one week on couple weeks off
I use a optimum red battery
no problems here , just do not charge with the boot open the light just uses up all the charge.

I have the 2/4a Motomaster Eliminator on one car and a CTEK 3300 on the other and they both work great. I feed the wire through the door by the mirror so I don't have to leave the window open. Take a piece of scrap wire and shut your door on it in a variety of places to find a good feed through spot that won't crunch your trickle charger wire.

They usually come off the same factory run. The only difference is the case and label on it. The CT unit works great!!! Label determines the price ....
