My first wife's brother had MD. I had the opportunity to know him and be touched deeply by his outlook on life. The one main lesson he taught to me by example was to NEVER feel sorry for myself. Shawn did not end his life abruptly, but came to his decision and acted upon it by simply refusing to eat any longer.
My thoughts are with you as you go through this.

Although I cannot imagine what you must be going through right now, as a father of four I can definitely say that you are facing one of my biggest fears in life.
