I have decided to make the journey to Road Atlanta again this year. Sean, my 10 y/o, is joining me. As part of the trip, we plan to spend a day cruising The Smokey Mountains and hitting The Dragon. The race last year was insane and I can't wait to experience all the action one more time. Anyone else thinking of going?

I went last year and had a blast. Great location for photography... still need to sort through my photos.

I have enough air-miles to go again this year (went to LeMans this year also - awesome), but I have yet to decide. Ah crap... I cant go... same day as a mandatory conference for work.

It was a tough race today. 53 entries in 4 classes. Tons of traffic all the time. 10 full course yellows. The last one at 3 laps remaining. With minutes to go, the Lizards took 2nd place, stealing it from the BMW on the last lap. Ferrari took 1st.
LMPrototypes are crazy fast and beautiful to watch. This might have been the last time they could be seen this side of the ocean. I will post some pics when I get back.
