FS: Hollow spoke Sport Technos in black/ silver
For sale are a set of OEM hollow spoke Sport Technos painted black/ silver with matching centre caps. As far as I know these do come optionally painted right from the factory but if someone knows otherwise please correct me. Fronts are 8Jx18 +50mm, rears are 11Jx18 +63mm. Turbo twists in the rear are +45mm and do not use spacers, so these are meant to be used on WB's with either OEM Porsche 17mm spacers, or any aftermarket spacer 17mm+. However certain years of WBs actually are able to use these without any spacers, I remember seeing an '03 Turbo that had these nearly flush without any spacers. These came with my car when I had initially purchased it, and they did clear without any spacers, so the thickness of the spacer is completely dependant on how flush you want them. I think I've overused the word spacers in the paragraph.
The tires are Falken FK452s. 225/40/18 and 295/30/18. The rears have about 40-50% tread left, the fronts about 60-70%. The rears are cupped/ feathered due to the alignment being out of spec for a prolonged period of time. They also have the usual negative camber wear. I had these on my car for a few days when I initially purchased it but ended up pulling them off because they were very noisy due to the abnormal wear. And I personally am not a fan of black wheels so I replaced them with a set of plain silver Sport Technos.
The rims are nowhere near perfect, 3 of them have some deep scratches and scuffs, and the 4th has some minor flaws as well. That being said, they are still OEM hollow spokes, and are lightweight and super strong. I was going to keep these for the track but I've decided I'm gonna go a different route. You can see the scratches and scuffs in the pictures and how they look like on my car. Sorry for the crappy cell phone quality but if you are interested you can come have a look at them and see for yourself, I can't think of anything I could possibly be hiding in the pictures or description but if you have any questions feel free to ask!
These are located in my storage unit in Newmarket at Woodbine and Davis. If you'd like to come see them feel free to call me at 416-826-8989, or you can E-Mail me at - icednmt@hotmail.com, my name is Faris.
$1,100 obo, trade offers are welcome, in particular I'm looking for a set of hollow or not hollow turbo twists, or something along the lines of VE Innsbruck's (can add cash on top of course).

Honestly I just am not a fan of black wheels. $300 steelies or $6,000 HRE's, I still haven't seen a set of black wheels that I've found to appeal to me on any car I've seen.
P.S. Your car looked absolutely sick with the GT3 wheels in your Renntech album!

i am looking for a winter set of rims for my 225/265 rubber. So some guys use an 11" rim and some suggest otherwise. Is there a general consensus on the "appropriate" width for 265's? (sorry for the hijack but it keeps your thread going...)
Thanks

For a beat up set of 11" wheels, I have no issue running 265's on them. The wheel does stick out a bit so curbing them is much easier to do but if they're curbed all ready to start with then who cares.
