i may be wrong, but i think all 2009+ 997's (aka 997.2) also have no IMS.

I was excited to finally see it sans camo...and I'm a tad dissappointed
with the proportions..This is the worst angle, and that's sad because this is
usually the BEST angle for 911s IMO:

at least they didn't extend the louvers on the engine all the way up the back window.

^^^ The front over hang is soo much shorter... the front wheels ar too far forward. i like it never the less its looks awesome

ya the overhang is less (i like that) and the windshield is further raked back (i also like that). the roof "looks" lower but it's hard to tell.

overall, the changes are pretty subtle. a non-porsche person might only notice different taillights.

I hope it's just the photo....but why is the driver's seat so far forward in the door frame?

Bad photog or REALLY bad change in the car's design...

well the base engine, moving from 3.6L to 3.4L isn't "the same" - something definitely has affected the displacement. the S engine remains 3.8L but with a higher output so also something has changed.
