Default Pairs of animals at Mosport yesterday.....

....it rained so hard for so long! Morning the track was at least drivable; got a good 2 hours in and really explored the various grip levels and enjoyed myself. Afternoon was a complete washout--we tried to go for a while but T5 ended up being covered with all the mud runoff so they shut down for the day. Still, a good time with lots of cool cars...

It sucks to make a long drive and not get to drive as the car was intended to be driven. Keep in touch.

Yeah, turn 5... well for those who were wondering what new ownership should address, drainage would be a good start.

It rained so hard during the second UCR event this year that the front straight was completely flooded. Good times!

Saw you out there, it certainly was interesting. I managed to get in about 10 laps, but the rear wheels were spinning all the way up the back straight....that was enough for me. See you at the next one.

Yeah, it really got interesting when the wipers wouldn't keep up and you couldn't see the standing water--the Mini was getting thrown all over the place up the back straight! In some respects it was pretty cool to be on a "vintage" race track like this in that rain--made me think of what the racers had to go through back in the day (and now, for that matter)...

I'll be back (if I survive Mid-Ohio next weekend ).

Gary

Chris, your new car looked really good!

back in the day the track did not have nearly as much oil in it and no walls!
yesterday was a corporate event...still smiling
the mini should be good in the rain.

It was, and I really did enjoy it.....the RE11s also helped. I actually flipped all of them on the rims about 3 events ago so all the tread (what's left of it) was backwards and they still had amazing grip.
