Guys - sadly, I'm out of action until my fractured ankle has healed...likely not until sometime in July. In the meantime, I saw some pictures on the Kingston GTG thread and a suggestion that folks living south and west of the Capital may want to venture towards Kingston rather than Ottawa.

We went by the Trainyards but no one was there, so we took a little impromptu cruise around Ottawa. Stopped for a photo op.
