Hopefully the PPI works out next week......
If so I think I will try and drive it back. Not geting any younger and may not have the excuse for this kind of roadtrip in the future

Do it Great car, great country to see.
I want to buy my next car in Cali and drive it up the west coast and back home across Canada.
If a few years there will be a GT3 coming to Ottawa via Cali
Cheers,
Geoff

very nice... year? mileage?
I say go for the road trip if u have time.... I drove to BC and back through Canada in 2002 (winter olympics time) to go ski in BC for 3 weeks with my wife. We had a 95 Integra packed to the gills with a ski box on top!
i like the black exterior. the tan interior is nice too.

Thanks. The black and tan two tone interior was just what I was looking for . Had an all tan 89 and my 993 is all black. Really like the two tone.
Its a 2006 with 14k on it from Vancouver.

Just take the 'Coqu' to Kelowna, then head south to the #3. This is the THE road, especially if you have time for a quick diversion to Nelson, take the ferry to Crawford Bay and then the most awesome twisty roads back to Grand Forks, then Creston then Cranbrook then Radium, then Calgary. I would kill to be the copilot...

I've never done the southern route, but I'll defer to folks in the know. The Fraser Canyon is Hwy 1 so it's part of the TransCanada Route. Either way, just about any road in BC is a scenic drive with twisties. The best one i've seen is on Vancouver Island between Campbell River on the east side to Gold river on the west side over the spine in the middle. Endless twisties for about an hour on an almost deserted road in excellent shape.

If you take the Coq, which has had recent snow, be careful on the connector between Merritt and Kelowna. They use pea gravel there for traction in the snow and there is usually a *hitload of it for about 2 km as soon as you turn off for Kelowna. You don't want anyone driving in front of you there.
The canyon is more fun to drive but a little longer, but then, you are driving your dream car, what's another hour?
