The explanation with the video is even better

"My girlfriend and I was going to get my car wash, however both car was stations were closed. We took a shortcut route to home which pass by our local Walmar parking lot and to our surprise"

He jumped out before he hit the post...after hitting the two parked caRs and building a few times first and after the cops arrived.

Look closely. There was no driver the whole time. The guy in the vest tried jumping in before it hit the pole. He changed his mind just in time.
