Nice Job-- will you do mine when they are due?
Ron,
I can "assist" you by supervising!

Zookie,

CDN Tire for the impact driver. It came with my full impact socket set and it doesn't use batteries. It's powered by your own strength...you hit the end with a rubber mallet and it does the rest.

Rubber? I always used a small sladge hammer. Works like a charm.

Someone needs to show Zookie how it works.

It's a dead blow mallet. No bounce back and I find it easier on the wrist.

Ahh ok, I thought you meant a regular rubber hammer.

Zookie,
This is the complete list of parts needed (except front pads and brake sensors, since I already had spare sets) to do the front and back brakes.
I ordered everything from my local dealer (for obvious reasons that you know!), but Suncoast would use the same exact part numbers. Note that the rotors are directional both in front and in back so there are different part numbers for each corner!

See those part numbers your mentioned is what Pelican says. But suncoast has these listed:-

996-351-410-04

996-351-409-04

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=brakesC4S

This is where im am Confused. Is 04 Superseeded Part Number?

Now unless the 04 is a Turbo Part, but im 99.9% sure C4S and Turbo have the exact same brakes, then why Diffrent Part Number... Need to Investigate

Phil,

Did you also use a Brake pad anti-squeal paste??
Haven't ever done my own brake job, but have been reading up on it and the anti-squeal paste has been mentioned a few times. Thks

I have never used the anti squeel but stock pads don't squeek anyhow.

No need for anti squeal paste with the factory backing plates/damper pads. They have adhesive peel backing that sticks to the back of the brake pads.

I don't think it makes a lot of difference; just newer stock. 2 months ago, those parts on Suncoast ended in 3. FYI, on PET 6 (which is out of date) the numbers are 996-351-410-02 and 996-351-409-02. And, yes TT has exact same brakes as the C4S.
