Default Going today

Have an appointment today at their new location for a set of rears.

Friend dropped off rims yesterday for a new set as well.

So far Allen has been a pleasure to deal with. I'll follow up after I pick my car back up.

Just picked up a set of rims, 12 tires and had 6 tires mounted.
Allen gave me a T-shirt and said everyone that spends 4 g's gets one.
I was very happy with all aspects of the deal.

Just bought some rubber for the wife's daily appliance..was going to do the
deed south of the border, but with everyone's vouches, I gave Simply Tire a
shot. AMAZING experience, professional, quick and priced right.

got new rears put on this past weekend. they are a hard to find tire these days and the price was very reasonable. this is a really good shop.

glad I read about them here. Things would have been way more inconvenient, and probablty more expensive otherwise.

Just ordered a set of tires for my DD and their price with mounting/balancing is better than Tire Rack's w/o mounting. Scheduled be installed next week.
Good to find a local source.

Quick update on my Simply Tire experience.
Their price ended up $1 less than Tire Rack (the only other place I checked) once the mounting/balancing, Ontario recovery, & taxes were factored in. The service was fast & simple as their name implies and the new location has a decent waiting area w/ WiFi.

I did pick up a ~1.5" scrape in the edge of one rim from the mounting and for some reason the tire pressure was way off (~28psi driver side and ~40psi pass side).

The owner (I think) alerted me to a manufactures rebate, good for $100 back which was an extra bonus.

I’d definitely go back for my next set. Thanks all for the recommendation.

Last time a tire shop scraped my rim during mounting they had it refinished.

Make sure you clean your rims before you take them in and tape the weights when you get home.
I really sucks to find a weight on the garage floor when you have 10 wheels they could have come from

I agree with you in principle, but I've had wheels repaired in the past and although they looked perfect they didn't match the originals. I that case it was a "Sport Design" wheel with a machined lip where the new repaired machine finish that didn't quite match the factory finish.

In this case the wheels have what I would call a "hyper silver" factory finish which I'm sure would be difficult to match w/o refinishing the whole set and I didn't feel this damage warranted that amount of repair work. Being my DD I also couldn't afford to have the car out of commission. I didn't even bring it up with the installer as I didn't see the point, probably a mistake in hindsight, as I'm sure they would have done what's right to make it right.
