Default Great Deal on 4 Post Lifts

Just passing this on, I'm in the market for a scissor lift but a buddy just sent me this deal on 4 post lifts. It's not what I want but maybe someone else can benefit. Check out shipping before finalizing the order.

Special pricing AAE LIFT SALE. 3 SS8000 LEFT @ $1449. 4 SS8000XLT LEFT @ $1599.

looks like a good deal ...but how do you get it here from Rochester? and where is it made? I hope not china. I am in the market for one. why is the warranty on the structure only 5 years? what happens if the lift fails in 6 years and crushes a car or worse a person?

Default ALI Certification?

As a minimum standard I would require any lift that I was considering to have ALI (American Lift Institute) certification. Are these lifts ALI certified?

Rod,
I bought a Direct Lift 4-Post Lift as well and am very happy with it. Can't beat it for the price.

+1! Rotary or Bend-Pak would be my only choice...I chose Bend-Pak...but as long as it is American Lift Institute certified. Don't step under anything that is not...

Problem is, none of the home units are ALI certified. They're not listed on the site; the MD-6XP isn't.

On their page...
*Not all BendPak lift models meet the standards as prescribed by ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2006 or ANSI/UL 201. Consult www.autolift.org for complete listings or contact BendPak via contact@bendpak.com.

I bought a used SS8000 yesterday. Installation was a breeze and it works great. No complaints at all.

I too am seriously thinking about the two post MaxJax. I have ceiling height issues. I will look at getting the garage floor reinforced with some kind of plate or concrete pylons. I don't know how thick the floor is. Barring that, I can get the garage floor re-poured.
