"Competition" usually drives prices down everywhere but in this country...where all businesses seem to only understand one acronym...MSRP.

I'm interested to see if PCA-UCR backs and supports the London dealership as much as they seem to DFC and Pfaff. Will there be an 'open house' and summer social held in London this year? What kind of promotions will be out there once the service centre is done, in order to get those people in the door that are quite happy with their present indy ? I'd support a spring/summer road trip for a burger and beer

I would have thought the KW area would have been a better spot. Still get the London business from the west and pull in the german crowd in and around 'berlin' (pre-war name!) as well as east to Gueph, south as far as Hamilton and perhaps a little further east to Milton/West Mississauga. Just my thinking anyway.

I used to get some basic service done at Pfaff Oakville before they decided to discontinue it. I heard that they were doing some service work now but I'm not going back. If they can't stick with a market long enough to build a customer base, I'm not interested in supporting them.

The new dealer in Oakville will not belong to Pfaff, Budd or the current Audi dealer. The winning bidder was the Lexus dealer inn Oakville. It will open next year!

Interesting news Stacheman. The owner is Frank Apa and he also owns the Toyota operation as well as the Lexus operation. Is this public or a tip from an insider Stacheman?

This is very interesting. I am friends with someone on one of the bid teams that was not awarded the dealership by Porsche. They were told that it was awarded to the Policaro Auto group and found this very odd given that most of there dealerships are not high end and they are mainly Brampton based.

I would be curious to understand where you heard it went to the Oakville Lexus dealer dealer group? It makes a bit more sense given location and brand fit.

I could've sworn Frank Appa owns the Audi/Vw store on ThirdLine + QEW..
Could be wrong! Haven't had great experiences at Budds either..especially on
the service side...

Hey Guys!

The new Porsche Dealer is Oakville will most likely be owned by the Policaro Group.

Don't know why Porsche Canada would choose them if it's true; Basil Policaro is not a very good business man but at least his Brothers will back him up.
