I looked at your friend Chris's results ... and I think we'll put him into GT2 for next weekends race, and see how he does.

For next weekends race ....
We'll have another BMW guy (Chris) joining us ... he'll be in an M3 ... like Paul ... so looks like it is Corvette vs Porsche vs BMW! Now we just need a couple of Ferrari, Ford, Jag and Viper guys, and we'll cover all the ALMS GT brands!
As we work through the season and our skill level improves, I would love to see more guys advance up through the levels.
Last week, I invited Steve (GETTREAL) to move from GT4 to GT3, and he did, ran very strong, and was leading me most of the race.
I also invited Phil (pongobaz) and Brad (Brad08vet) to move from GT3 to GT2.
I think that next week, Brad has earned a spot in GT2
Phil, if you would like to move up, the invite is still open.
Alex (StingrayAlex), you ran very strong last weekend, so I would like to extend an invite for you to move up to GT2.
Laui ... keep working hard, and I'm sure you will move up to GT3 shortly.
Me, and Claus ... well we'll keep improving, and I'm sure in a couple of races, we'll be ready for GT2! :ack:

Qualifying: 3 Laps - Random Grid Order
Race: 25 Laps - Lobby Points earned from Qualifying.
I'll walk through now how to set up the game for your practice sessions ...
1 - Go Race - Multiplayer
2 - Private Race
3 - Game Setup
Screen #1 - RULES
Envrironment: Silverstone
Track: Silverstone Grand Prix
Laps: How ever many you want!
Damage Dificulty: Cosmetic
Colision mode: Default
end of race timer: none
Screen #2 - ADVANCED RULES
Number of Player Groups: 4
Screen #3 - OVERRIDES
Force off Autobrake: YES
Screen #4 - 7 - GROUP 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 OPTIONS
Car Class: R3
Power Handicap: Group 1: -30% / Group 2: -20% / Group 3: -10% / Group 4L 0%
So if you are in GT1 ... then you run in Group 1 ... and if someone else from another group is running ... slot them into their group, and then when you practice ... you should have an accurate race condition between the two (or more) of you.

My car got "modified" by corvettes. I was challenging for 1st when the 'vette in 3rd didn't use his brakes coming into the corner. Result: my car was no longer competitive and was down 30+sec, so I had to nurse it to a 3rd place finish.

Well I'll be heading to Quebec City early Sunday morning ... my nephews are playing in a hockey tournament, so I'll be in Quebec for the next two weekends ... cheering them on! :rock:
So depending on how many racers we have over the next two weekends, we'll need someone other than me to host one of the races.
