Default Looking for a good indie shop for winter tires for 997.2 (GTA)

Recently got a quote for winter tire purchase and mounting for my 2011 997.2 from my local dealer.

Tire pricing was ridiculous even compared to Tirerack with shipping and duty. Are there any respectable independent shops in the GTA that one can purchase and have tires mounted?

TIA

Tire Rack is one of the cheapest places for tires. What's an indie shop?

1010 tires and TireRack are hard to beat.
I can vouch for Tirerack's no hassle no surprise Canadian delivery.

You can also try Kipling Tire in Etobicoke (www.kiplingtire.ca). No affiliation.

Also great experience with Tire Rack. I will check where I had them mounted...it was up around Dupont and was not expensive.

+1 for 1010tires. Great prices and you'll have the tires in a zip.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I already checked Tirerack and the prices were excellent, however, I was a little apprehensive re duties etc. I'll call simplytire tomorrow as well

I had a bad experience with Kippling tire, plus an attitude from owner.
Yes I know he also owns a Porsche.

Green & Ross Tires on Kennedy Road in Brampton has quoted me better prices than anyone else. I provide my own covers for the seat and floor when I take my DD to them. They are good guys.

I've dealt with Consumer's Tire as well. Good prices and service. I usually deal with Andy.
