Need new 305/30/19's...anyone or place?
The cord on the inside of the rear tires is just showing so I need to find two 305/30/19's really soon! Preferably matching Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. I see they're $544 each @ Tirerack, but local is probably best.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Brad or Bert I was in the same boat about amonth ago...
I needed 2 rear Pilot Sport tires 285/30/ZR18.
I called Allen at Simply Tire and this is what e quoted me..
"Here are a couple choices... do yourself a favor and read the reviews on
the Sumitomo... this is the biggest "value" tire to come out of Japan and
is easily one of my personal favorite tires.
Sumitomo HTRZ - $510.00 - Installed
BFG G-Force T/A KDW2 - $710.00 installed
Goodyear Eagle F1GSD3 - $830.00 installed
Michelin PS - $890.00 - Installed
Please let me know if you have any other questions,
Allen"
I ended up purchasing all 4 new Sumitomo HTRZ tires ....$890.00 installed.
He ordered them on a Tuesday and they were on the car Friday night....Great guy to deal with and no issues what so ever...Located at Dufferin/Steels area...

+1 for Tirerack. Be aware that if you do chose to go with Sumitomo, BFG, Goodyear, Kuhmo, etc... they are not Porsche N-rated. Not necessarily a big deal for a street car, but for cars still under warranty, you could face a denial of claim should try to have anything repaired that Porsche could somehow link to the tires.
N-rated tires of the same model (ie: Michelin PS2) are not constructed the same. Usually the N will have a stiffer sidewall that is designed to work with the Porsche suspension and the weight of the engine over the back wheels. The comments on various forums on non-N rated tires is that the ride is a little softer; some people like that and others do not.

The best place to get tires for any car is Wheels Direct. They don't go through distributors but get their wheels directly from the manufacturer so their prices are usually well below market value.
