Some pics of my S2... finally
After several months of work it's almost ready for inspection for my quebec plates. It has spent more time at my mechanics shop then it has at home, or driving it. One session at the track and OMG.... So here is my work in progress pride and joy.

Yes, after all these years I still wanted one and the dream has come true! This one came exactly as I would like it. With subtle upgrades it has a nice up to date look with the 968 mirrors, door handles, cup II wheels, and lowered. Just can't wait to get my Qc plates so I can drive it more!

The better question is what didn't I do...
I had to change all front bearings
Left front ball joint
Tie rod ends
tie rod end boots
rebuild front calipers
flush brake fluid
inner CV joints
outer CV boots
power steering hose
clutch master cylinder hose
replaced cruise control brain
Here is the big one had to replace the transmission because I blew the diff on my first session at the track. Replaced it with one from a turbo, so at least I have an LSD and transmission oil cooler now.
PO was a little neglectful. So it should be ready for inspection now, so I can at least get my QC. plates and will be able to take it out for a drive and enjoy the car.

Dwane,
So far I have only been out to St. Eustache with my club (ASE). We go lapping every Monday evening, and we also have some events at various other tracks. However between work, and the car spending more time at my mechanic then with me I haven't had the chance to do much more. I will join PCA, and will defiantly attend some DE events. Just want to make sure I work out as many bugs as I can to make sure it doesn't break on my every time I hit the track. When and where is the next DE? Maybe I will join RSR as well? I take it its a Montreal club?
