Default Buying experience at World Fine Cars

Has anyone had a good/bad buying experience at World Fine Cars in Toronto. I'm looking at a car there but not sure about the quality of their vehicles. Thanks

Almost bought a car from there several times, I dealt with Patrick; very straight forward, honest and upfront with cars.

I bought my infiniti from them in 2006. Was in University in windsor at the time. CEL came on and brough the car back 3 weeks later as I was 400km away. They checked the CEL and cleared it, told me my gas cap wasn't on properly.... A week later back in Windsor it came on again. Had a local shop scan it, O2 sensor issue. Brought it back a few weeks later later to hear my 30day warranty had lapsed and they werent covering it. Cant remember if it was 30/60/90days but regardless when I returned they refused

This is kipling south of the QEW correct?

I looked at a car (non-Porsche) there a few years ago... took it to my mechanic, we put in on the hoist, and it came down almost as fast as it went up. Not the dealers fualt, but the car was not well maintained and not worth the price. The interesting thing was that when I came back the sales guy told me that the second he let me take the car to have a look, he knew I wouldn't buy it... apparently somebody else did a full PPI and said no thanks a few days earlier. Not sure if he was a good guy being honest about the condition, or a jerk for wasting my time. The car was not even worth an offer, and he understood.... Hope that helps...

Maybe it's me but the name is cheesy enough to stay away from them.

I remember seeing a sign on a car probably a dozen years ago stating don't by from World Fine Cars........ Of course from someone who had been perceived himself to be burnt. No idea what the underlying circumstances were but bad enough for someone to go to the bother of making up a sign and driving around the city with it on his car.

Hey p987yow, my office is 2 minutes away from WFC. If there is a particular P-car you are interested in, I can stop by, take a look at it for you, report my findings and (possibly) save you a trip
