Just a heads up in case anyone is looking for one...
The CTEK MULTI US 3300 is on sale at Canadian Tire this week at 40% off down to $53.99 (reg $89.99).
CTEK MULTI US 3300
This is a smart multi-stage charger with some nifty features that will handle 12V motorcycle and car batteries. It is a charger-maintainer...connect it...forget it.
Features (user selectable):
- 0.8 or 3.3 amp charging rate.
- 14.4V or 14.7V cutoff, the latter is used for special batteries such as the Optimate and also for charging in colder temperatures.
- good for FLA (traditional wet) or MF batteries (AGM, GEL, Lead-Calcium).
- connector lock and are watertight.

Didn't see the post here, but I did grab one because I thought it was a good deal. Yeah it looked really like the Porsche charger. Wasn't sure if this is indeed the OEM of Porsche charger or not.

CTC house brand goes on sale the odd time for $29.95 ... idenitical specs as the CTEK and Porsche. IIRC, they are all built in the same factory in China and placed into difference cases according to the middlemans requirements. All that is different is the case and what you paid ....

For the bikes, I have 4 Optimate III charger-maintainers. I was able to get one at the December TO bike show for $50 with a wall bracket; that was a couple of years ago.
The CTEK will handle both nicely in that it has the extra bit of current (3.3A) if you need it. It won't charge up a battery in an hour or two, but it will overnight.

I have 2 CT branded ones. Used it on the waverunner, sled, motorcycle, lawnmower, kids ride on toys and now Porsche. One of them is 10 yrs old and Also does 6v batteries. The 2nd one I just got last year and is 12v only and charges at 2 & 4amps. Both chargers have an automatic float mode when topped off
