Unfortunately, I was only there for the morning and when I left they were still having a hard time with at least one of the sensors. Did they finally get some times for your car?

I only saw a few split times for myself - never seemed to get a lap time. I've sent them an email asking if the data is available but I suspect it is not since things weren't working right. Too bad - its a neat setup.

I expect they'll have it up and running for the race weekend. After talking to the bike guys I got the ich to find a race bike again. Soooooooo much fun for so little money (compared to cars).

I pulled lap times from some video I shot on Wednesday afternoon ... for the first few laps I just followed Peter and Thane in their older 911's (shame on me I can never remember what model numbers they are) ... they were turning 2:45, 2:42 and 2:39 while I was following them.
A few laps later Ray did something like a 2:25 (estimate) in his Diazio (he passed me right at the start-finish line but was too far ahead for me to time accurately at the end of the lap). And my best two times in that session were 2:27 and 2:28 catching up with Rob.
My typical times were 2:32. That's 5 sec that I'm throwing away somewhere. Gotta look at that video some more ...

Mine is a '77 S (with a short stroke 3.2) and Thane's is an '81 Euro-spec SC Targa. I didn't know you were shooting videos. The best time I recorded with my camera for us was a 2:45, but I didn't record every stint. A 2:39 would be my best ever, AFAIK. We had a blast and never could pass each other - the cars being so equally matched. It is so much better having someone to run with - we were pushing harder without getting silly.

The 2:39 was on a lap where I passed Thane about 1/2 way through ... but I assumed you were both right on my tail through to the end of the lap ...
Here's the video ...

In the afternoon I got the RFIDs and it all worked. I checked the monitor in the motorcycle store and it showed last and best lap times including splits for each driver, 2:28.5. Your video time and RFID system are in agreement.
FWIW, the iPhone laptimer app and the RFID system was only 0.15s apart on a comparison of a single lap, I was impressed that the times were that close.
The motorcycle shop promised to email the full output. You can pay for daily or seasonal use of the RFID system. Not sure of prices and no affiliation.
It was a tons of fun with lots of cars lapping as a similar pace, and lots of good advice shared.
cheers, Rob

And then lowered suspension with more neg camber (cause the MPSCs will get shredded at CMP with street setup) and then more aggressive Pagids and then ... and then more MPSC's and then ...
