OT: For Sale Brand New Vespa S50
I was at a golf tournament on Tuesday for a charity I support. After the golf day ended there was an auction fundraiser. I stepped up to help boost the price on a brand new Vespa S50 in the auction.
You can guess the ending, I was the winner.
I don't really need this so I will make an effort to sell it. If I do, then great, if not, I guess I'll drive a scooter around town some days.
The scooter info can be found here: http://www.motoretta.ca/ProductDetail.aspx?productId=2

That's exactly what I was thinking
hey i did some quick calcs .. so look at the bright side .. if you payed 4299 for 50cc , then your Porsche by comparison is worth $309,528

Are you willing to part out your mods?
Good luck with the sale - cool scooter, if I wasn't 6'1" and 210, & therefore look like a tool on it, I worked out that it would pay for itself in gas savings in 2 seasons of riding.

If I don't sell through a Rennlist or Facebook then I may just use it. I don't have the interest in entertaining test drives from Craigslist deal hunters.
FYI, it now has 3.8km on the gauge (I drove my son up and down the alley yesterday. He wants me to keep it!)

If you try it you'll keep it ! I've ridden motorcycles for 35 years now and each time I drive a 50cc scooter I have just as much fun, as long as it is a 4 stroke motor like your Vespa, not an oil burner !
