Where can I get the DRL's done?
I'm thinking that it's the Porsche dealership for this piece of the puzzle.
Crappy Tire also said that I have to get the lenses in each light replaced as the bulb apparently left a burnt spot on each hindering the output of the light. You can actually see the burn spots if you look closely. Anyone herar of this?
The service guy said the previous owner used bulbs that were too strong?????
thanks for the help.

if you have a 996, pull the headlight button (this will light the fogs) and put a zip-tie behind it. The fogs in the lamp will always stay on when you turn the key ON. Worked for me for the inspection. Just cut the zip tie and place it so it is not easily seen.

Don't know how much yet they still have the car. He said it would be about @100 for the part and one hour's labour. He's going to see if he can do anythign about the yellowing or burnt lenses.

Can. Tire told me I had to get the DRL relay installed even though the marker lights are on all the time. $100 later Can. Tire re-inspected vehicle and passed it.
