Default Introduction

Hey Guys,

I was just recently alerted to the fact that there is a Canada forum on Rennlist. I just wanted to take the time and say hi. I've had a 951 for 5 years now and i'm just starting to get into DE sessions and modifying the car. It's nice to see that people do organize meets and fun runs here. I'm looking forward to participating in some of those. Here are some obligatory pics Sry about the bad quality, I had to fish them off Facebook b/c im at work.

Careful Danny, I tried to register for that day but was denied: it's only for drivers in the white group and above (and I am in yellow ).

Thanks turbodan. It's an 87 in pretty stock shape. It has a LR boost enhancer. After a recent DE i decided i really need some better swaybars since the car rolls qute a bit in the turns. I trying to get a hold of Henry at Refined Motorsports to talk to him about some suspension mods. Being on the track really opened my eyes about the value of a good suspension. The plate is photoshopped because the pics are on FB and I would rather not share my plate with that crazy bunch. $50 dollar DE sounds like a great deal. I'm still a uber-noob so i don't think I would fall into those classes. I should look into joining PCA.

Welcome, nice to see another 951 guy here. I run the 968 M030 sway bars, 30mm front and 3-way adjustable 19mm rear. Seems to have killed a bit of the stock body roll, for the price its worthwhile. Make sure you replace your shocks if you haven't yet, the fresh Koni adjustables I put in made a world of difference to the handling.

chrenan, that's more or less what i'm looking to get. Is your car at stock ride height?

1990964C4, unless he went out of busines just recently, i believe he's still kickin. His phone number is still operational. He works out of a new location now.

Yes, stock ride height, I should have said I just have the basic Konis adjustable for rebound, not the coilover Konis that are height adjustable (951S).
