Somebody MUST know what took place!!

 

A 997 roll-over on a fun run, including pics of the damaged car. Questions of driver error, stuff like that, comments that it's a pretty tough thing to do on a straight road without being really irresponsible, particularly in a C4.

Looks like the original thread from the 997 forum has disappeared too, which is why methinks I smell a lawyer. Or perhaps an insurance adjuster.

It's too bad for the guy. I don't think I'd want pics of my misfortune all over the internet either. Hope everythings ok.

 

Yeah, guy flipped a 997.2 C4S Cab on a straight road with a 40mph limit within a park area. He was attempting to pass a Subaru on double solid line (no pass zone) and "somehow" it all went wrong. The guy walked away with only a cut to his left hand, but the car was destroyed. This happened during a "fun run".
Those of us who drive C4S' have a hard time believing that you could flip this car on a straight road without some major application of excessive speed AND a certified boneheaded maneuver.
Guess his buddy that posted the pics is in deep **** since I would think that charges of dangerous driving could be coming and his insurance will have a field day with it.

 

You just know somebody did a cut 'n paste of it off the 997 forum, I bet it shows up some place.

 

As long as it wasn't a 928

 

I wouldn't want pics posted publicly either but it ain't like the cops and insurance company wouldn't have them anyway. Just sayin'.

 

Of course legal offices have never heard of Google cache... LOL

 

Well the fact it was here concerns me .. anybody flipping a car is very very bad ... Sure hope it wasn't a regular rennlister ..

 

I guess we'll have something to talk about at the Muskoka run on May 8th.
