Default OT: am stuck in Prague

I had a couple of weeks work n Prague and am now stuck here indefinitely. I have a hotel and am not in the airport but it ciould be a week before I get out of here. Prety surreal. Rebooked for Tuesday and its longer thant going to India....Prague-Copenhagen-London-Toronto................and no indication if it will be cancelled also.

Fly to Dubai to HK and take Catay Pasific to T.O

Or you can Go to Mumbai and take Air India Non-Stop to NYC, its goes over Africa not Europe

All of the exotic routes are jammed...even tried through Moscow as I still have a valid visa. I have Amex working on it.

Prague... most romantic city in the world, so they say.

Make a girlfriend, enjoy your stay. ;-)

Ronan,
Well there could be worst places to be stuck. I say stock up on good cigars, good magazines and books and go sit by the hotel pool and enjoy the view! I'll light up a stogie this morning at our GTG in your absence.

Charles Bridge and a cold Budvar. That would work.

I agree, not the worst place to be stuck in. Maybe head down to the Scuderia Cafe and meet some of the F-car junkies. Pretty hot woman have been spotted there also! ;-)

Its a great city and I did bring a few stogies. Went to Bar & Books near the Old Square....wonderful cigar bar. Looks like I might get out Wednesday through Munich.

I was stuck in Prague as well. Travelled to Frankfurt today via Nurnberg on bus/train. Have a flight out from FRA through IAD to YOW on Tuesday. Going to book another for Friday as back-up. Doesn't sound promising for departures early this week.

Sorry to hear you're stuck Ronan. Just back from Whistler......buckets of Brits getting an extended ski vacation. The airports are empty so now's the time to travel if you want to go somewhere not dusted in............

Prague is very concentrated and you can basically walk to everything,,just go to the old town and walk around, see the Castle, Charles Bridge and Old Square. Endless numbers of sidewalk restaurants, great beer and cigar bars.
