Question car audio shop suggestion

Can somebody recommend a car audio shop that is familiar with 996 electronic? I've got a new headunit and would like to replace the CDR23.

Thanks in advance.

I used Kromer downtown for my 993. They even built a custom sub enclosure for the passenger wheel well. 3 years and no problems (and I play it loud)

Just bought a 2006 Boxster S. Spur of the moment thing, but so far I love the car except for the stereo. I also have been looking into a shop for changing it out in Toronto. I called Ultra Auto Sound based on the recommendation above and they are going to quote me based the specs I send them. I am also getting a quote from NuTech Electronics which is the shop Pfaff recommended. NuTech is in Concord near Keele and Langstaff. I will let you know what I hear back if you are interested.

FYI, I have a CDR24 with Bose Option. I am looking at getting either the Kenwood DNX6160 or Pioneer AVIC-X920BT. NuTech says they can do it using the AMP integrated in the headunit bypassing the Bose. Ultra says that I need to replace the Bose amp with a new one. The various chat threads on the topic echo this debate and I am not sure who is right.

Keep us posted with what you do.

Cheers, Brian

Pfaff uses this guy:
Julian 416-518-7998
He hard wired my Garmin into the factory unit, so now my nav, phone, MP3s and XM all work through the car stereo.

FYI, Julian's company is called NuTech. I am speaking with him about my install now.
