Default Nova Scotia P-car mechanics?

Hi - I just moved to Nova Scotia from Toronto and am now actively looking for a mechanic in central Nova Scotia. Ideally in the New Glasgow area, but Truro would be OK as well. Anybody have someone they can recommend?
Thanks Glenn

I had a Badluck two years ago on PEI with my Boxster, there is 1 dealer in all Maritimes at Halifax, I had to have it towed to Moncton where the BMW dealer toke care of me (change the alternator).. I found him by calling the halifax dealer, you can also have good reference from towing driver to know where p-car peoples bring their car to get them fixed

I wish you good luck finding nice nice place to take care of your car

by the way, where do you find 94 octan at east of QuebeCity ? :P

In Halifax, there is Halifax Autosport on Kempt Rd (across the street from the Porsche Dealer), and farther down the road is another place I think it's called Eurowerks. Thats about it for this area. Some of us do our own work. As for the New Glasgow/Anitgonish area I don;t think there are any places.

Thanks - I suspected as much. I do most of my own work, but wanted to know if there was a German wrench around just in case.
Thanks Glenn

Resurrecting this one.

What have you ended up doing for mechanic services in Nova Scotia? If you are doing your own repairs, who are you turning to for parts supplies?

I am in Digby County and purchased a 996 in September 2020. Not a whole lot of choices in my area, so looking for what else may be out there.

The ones mentioned are still going strong. There is also another in Bedford on Rocky Lake Rd (All Euro) that some of the guys in the local PCA Club use. Another option for most things is ISI Automotive in Halifax. They are focused on performance cars and race cars but Steve has experience with Porsche race cars and has a very good rep.

Hi @ArcticOne are you still in Digby and driving a 996? I'm going to be headed your way in the not so near, but not so far, future, retiring in Deep Brook, and I am determined to keep and bring my '01 996 coupe with me. PM me if you have any inclination to do so We can help each other. It's a few years off but hey, planning is everything.
Thanks!

We’ve got an active PCA Region, so drop a line if you need anything.
