Default 2010 montreal gp

Well I'm finally planning on going to the 2010 Montreal GP F1 race this year. I'm a complete n00b and don't know what I'm getting myself into. Right now I'm thinking of getting seats in grandstand 24, or even grandstand 22 if my friends don't wanna fork up the money. Anyways where is the cheapest place to get them and what advice can you guys give me.

I'm always in grandstand 24, one of the best place to be.
For me, best grandstands are 24, 12 and 11. I like 24 better because it's one of the best pace to whatch races, lots of action, you have plenty of room outside the grandstand, you have access to the support races paddock and closer to the metro.

You should buy your ticket directly at the ticket office: 514-350-0000

I went in 2008 with friends for the First time drove my P-Car there... Six of us just went without Tickets and Hotel Reservations... When we got to MTL i drove around and found a bunch of Exotics parked outside the new Holiday Inn next to The Courtyard Marriot, The Patio Was rammed with Exotics, so i was like this is the Hotel we are staying at. Price was like $140 a night, split 3 ways... Got 2 rooms 6 of us in Total... I was suprised on how cheap it was for Night Stay...

As for the Tickets we bought them from Scalpers outside the Track for Less than Face Value... For Qualifying we had Grandstand 11 and for Race day we bought Grandstand 2 Tickets from the same guy... But when we got to the Grandstand 2, me and my friends were like this sucks, so we walked into Grandstand 11 again with our Gold Tickets and just sat right in the middle on the stairs... By far the best weekend ever in my life so far... Plan on doing the same thing this year but going to MTL on Wednesday Night insted of Friday Night like last time, so i can cheak out all the Car Meets and going with more People and more Cars along for the Cruise...

I went with $5000 ended up spending no more than $800, No Alcohol or Clubs... Ran into Ronan outside the Casino and the Redbull Team Pit Crew were staying in our Hotel, had great time talking to them on Sat Night

Sorry i Edited my OP, its the Holiday Inn Next to the Courtyard Marriot @ 420 Sherbrooke W. Hwy 2 Their Lobby Entrance is like a Patio, so you can just park you car there and chill in the Patio

Been several times to Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve (as I could litteraly walk to the track). I don't know the stand numbers, but always tried to hang out at the Senna corner (turns 1-2), whether it was standing or sitting. You get to see down the start-finish line (and the pits), you see the cars go through 1 and 2, and then launch towards 3. The start of the race of course is amazing. There is a jumbo screen there as well, which makes it much easier to follow the race or qualifying.

Make sure you walk through the support race pits (other end of the track completely). You actually get a little closer to the action.

I'm sure the VIP areas above the pits and accross the track from the pits, but never got a chance to try those yet...
