Albert, when are you going to take "my car" out of your avatar?

The complete exhaust system is off to do a bunch of maintenance items such as: new spark plugs, new valve cover gaskets and fasteners (some/most are rusty), new exhaust bolts and nuts, applying anti-seize paste on spark plugs and all exhaust fasteners (to avoid future headaches).

I'm also slowly washing away all of that brown factory coating off the engine/transmission, bit by bit.

Well stop pulling 1.2 Gs in the curves and the cup holders will work fine.

Does a 996 TT or 997 have cup holders? Please tell me you are joking. If so, I will have a talk with Porsche next summer when I am in Germany. A Porsche is a driver's cars not some toy. LOL

Sort of like Pants Savers when it comes to holding water within them. You don't dare take a curve fast with them.

Holy ****...WTF happened here? hahah

Update: I sent her to Autowerks, she said Domenic was very nice.
They siphoned and took care of some servicing that DFC
would have otherwise have received.

Autowerks gains another customer from DFC! She looked at what
Autowerks charges for similar services and concluded that DFC definitely
knows where the hole is and she's not givin-it up to DFC anymore, ever again.

I had to buy my cup holders...

Which leads me to a funny story. My wife and I go through a Tim's drive through last summer (can't remember which small town) and the kid hands my wife and I our refill mugs back to us and says, 'Didn't think 99's HAD cup holders'? We were stunned. I think I mumbled something about no, not normally unless you buy aftermarket. Then we drove down the road shaking our heads about the fact that; 1. How could this 17 or 18 year old know about the lack of cup holders and 2. The fact my car WAS a 99!

Maybe he had a Rennlist parent? Maybe a future Porsche owner like the kid in the Porsche ad who says, 'See you in 20 years' to the salesman.

Great story! It probably was a kid just like that. Good for him! I'm not sure I could tell the difference between MYs of 996s.
