Default Optional thicker steering wheel

I have the standard steering wheel on my car which is much thinner than my BMW. Porsche offers a thicker, (possibly smaller) wheel currently and I am wondering if anyone has tried it. Is it worth adding to the spec on new car??

I have seen on other forums guys that can mod the leather steering wheels and add girth. I think it is nice to have some thickness in the wheel.

OK..I changed order and got the thicker wheel. I always found the wheel in the RS.1 a little thin, and a few people who have the thicker one like it a lot.
