Default New Ottawa 997 - Who's still driving?

Proud new owner of a red '06 997.

I'm the Auto Service Manager at the Canadian Tire store at Blair & Ogilvie. Had a few 911 SC's but this 997 is like nothing I've ever driven. Amazing piece of machinery.

Anyone else driving their pcars this winter? :P

Oh yes! Drove a few winters with the 993, first winter with the Boxster. I am always a bit worried about the others on the road, but for the rest it's a lot of fun

Welcome to Rennlist! I drive my C4S all year round. By the way, the Ottawa guys hang out on the Rennsport sub forum to this one. Rennsport is the PCA region for Ottawa and Montreal. If you don't know it, check out www.rennsport.ca

There is a very active gang in Ottawa if you are interested in hanging with other Porsche fans.

Best,

Hey Adam, welcome and "excellent" car!!
You know it's board policy to provide pictures when you get a new car

If planning on winter driving in Ottawa, you might want to invest in a set of snow-chains...
Mine went into hibernation mode on Nov.17... the latest in almost 15yrs of P-car ownership.

Me too, plowed and clean roads...like to keep the engine running every so often, with winter tires of course.

Put her away yesterday To add insult to injury, I have to do the 6-month garage cleaning now, too.

Sounds like a nice car - pictures would confirm ...

Along with the chains ... you might want some snow tires ... these rims (ahem) might work for you

I have too much respect for fine cars.

It got put away Nov 2nd. It'll never see snow or rain.

Some might argue that if you really respected her your use he to her full potential every day. Rain, sun or snow.
