Both my USA import 911's seemed to get by without them.

Agreed. My 964 was originally brought up from California by a dealer. It doesn't have French airbag labels.

Same here with the boxster import. As I understand it, most riv inspectors don't care because they realize it's a silly regulation.

Thanks, maybe I'll just write "Le Airbag" on some masking tape and stick it on the visor

crappy tire can sell those to you for about $5 as well as unleaded fuel sticker. they also have the child seat bolt to be put in glove box.

I`m an auto service manager at a CT store.

For the most part, they won`t give you a hard time or they`ll supply you with the proper stickers when you go to have the RIV done. I can`t remember the last time I gave anyone a hard time about the child restraint, french airbag sticker (most cars don`t need them serviced and therefore don`t need the french sticker).

Worst case scenario drop me a line. :P

I have an electronic version of the sticker I can email you if you need it. Keep us posted. You should be fine without it. I had stickers made that I could stick on if they insisted, but it didn't even come up.

Got my RIV inspection and emission test done at the CTC at the stockyards (Keele/St Claire) and they never bothered me with the french airbag sticker, although I did have some that I had printed online. Can send you the file if you like
