I have bought it at Canadian Tire 40 and St Charles but it shows up only occasionally. In any case, from all that I have read, it is not the first choice for a 993. You might search on the topic.

Canadian Tire on Sources and 40 have it.

I found that out AFTER driving to Plattsburgh to buy a case.

I have seen the Mobil 1 5W50 in WalMart in Toronto. Do you have WalMart in Montreal too? Try there.

I think Bob is suggesting Brad Penn for the air cooled motor.
That's what I use. (Shell Rotela is really good as well)

Thanks for the advice guys.....There are endless threads on this in the 993 section, but i would need a week to read it all. From what I got from reading a few, is that diff people have diff preferences, and if Porsche recommendds Mobil 1, uses Mobil 1, and my car has been using ot for 12 years now, with no problems.....I feel comfortable sticking with it.

Do you know why Porsche uses Mobil1?
It's free!(sort of) They advertise that's what they use.
I got a couple of analysis done with my car and that's why I switched.

The lab said the engine was wearing nice and chemical content was great the 2 times I did the Penn analysis. The Mobil, they suggested changing the oil sooner because of chemical content. I also spoke with Charles from LNEngineering when I went to Hershey and his knowledge of oil convinced me to change.
