PSS10 Group Buy
#46
Granger -
First of all thanks for taking the time and energy to put this together. I've been trying to decide where to put my 993 improvement money since before this thread was started (like about a day after I got the car home - actually that's not true I bought the 18" rims before I got the car home!) and suspension is a top priority (got to get rid of the SUV height). I have noticed a fairly large price increase since I started looking at PSS10's last fall - and Essex was one of the places I had checked out - I believe last fall their regular price was closer to the group price you've gotten now. Have you looked at the FD Motorsports price on their website - Mark and Darrin seem like pretty awesome guys and they are a huge part of the Rennlist community. Here's a link to their prices - $2399 for 993's and $2050 for 996's - U.S. dollars of course.http://www.fdmotorsports.net/index_files/Page1558.htm

Gents,
I've heard very little back from any of your regarding the PSS10 group buy. I'm understanding there is limited interested due to pricing.
I need at least 10. So far, I have:
Granger968 (yes, I still want the upgrade)
Please let me know before Friday April 23rd if you are interested. That'll be the deadline.
Thanks!

Granger,
I appreciate you efforts in coordinating this group buy. Please take me off the list as
I had already ordered a new suspension. BTW, the best price i found on-line (no affiliation)
for the pss systems is at partsgeek, for $2150. USD, plus shipping, duty etc....
Good luck and have a great summer.

Can someone please tell me if the PSS10's drop the car at all at the default setting? I know it says you can lower "from 30mm to 50mm" to me that sounds like they lower the car 30mm by default and you can go further to 50mm if you want...
Is this right?

correct
You are correct on the default setting
There is no SUV setting on the PSS10
you can end up euro spec height no problem
just a little under that is cool height

dude...that's sweet!
my question is due to the fact my C4S is a daily driver...and therefore will see snow. So I'm like the fact that I can adjust the height at fall/spring to go from Summer to Winter setup, I was just curious if there was a default drop.
I looove the stance of your pic...but I couldn't get around in the winter like that

The PSS 10 has adjustable ride height feature, I'm not sure what the min and max height options are. This will give you the possibility of changing the ride height based on the seasons. You should be aware that you will require an wheel alignment each time you change the height on the suspension. You may want to consider this additional expense when going down this road. Or just install it and love it.
