London newbie intro
Please allow myself to introduce...myself...
I'm Mark, and I have a problem.
Ever since I was a young whippersnapper, I've been fascinated by the beauty of the 911. I promised myself one day I would have one.
It took me a while, but true to my word, here's my baby: a 1979 911SC Targa.
BTW, when I'm not out in the Porsche, here's the company car (I work for the company that makes these):

Hey Mark
Welcome aboard, I have a 78 SC Targa and I live in Cambridge. I quite often see your company vehicle coming down the 401 on the back of a flatbed. The next time in the area i'd love to see your car.

Thanks for the hearty welcome everyone.
The main gun on the LAV (Light Armoured Vehicle) is a 25mm Bushmaster. Been trying to figure out how to mount it on the Porsche and still have it look good but no luck so far! On a serious note, they're a lot easier to drive than you'd think. Turning the Porsche wheel to full lock takes a lot more effort than swinging one of these beasts around. Mind you, I can turn around in the middle of a street in the Porsche whereas the LAV's turning diameter is over 15 meters!
The Porsche is going into storage in another week or so, but am hoping to get to at least one or more of the get togethers next year.
If any of you are up this way next summer, we should definitely try to get a group together to go to the Fleetwood Country Cruize In here in London. This summer had 2,800 show cars turn up, and another 2400 spectator cars. If you've never been, you really have to see it or be part of it! It's an open cruize in so anyone can bring their vehicle in to the show grounds.
