So I got excited seeing these pictures then I thought, wait, it looks familiar...The back end looks identical in shape to the Panamera. Looks like some platform sharing. Hard to imagine that engine is equivalent to TWO Panamera Turbos![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)

Here's a photoshop of a Panamera Cab someone did (they are hoping for I guess) that was printed in the PCA/UCR July 09 issue - they made a 2 door out of it. I think it looks kinda cool - it gets rid of the back window/roof line issue I have with the current 4 door shape.

A 2 door Panamera could easily compete with one of favourite Mercedes, the CL class. Actually, I bet Porsche could beat them on price, quality, performance, the lot, if they were to build it. Whether they do is whole different story and whether die hard 911 owners want them to build it is an even different story.

just reviving this old thread as I was reading this article about a W16 sedan from Bugatti.. now that porsche own half of rimac bugatti, this is making more sense than ever to use a porsche base to make a sedan...or an SUV... https://www.motorheads.com/features/...atform-ar6740/
