Three Wheelin'
Congrats on the new ride! Long way from a 3.2!
I have to admit that one of my favourite (non-track or stage) automotive experiences was hauling *** through the tight, twisty back roads of Northern California in a Boxster S. That car was absolutely viceless in that scenario. Fast, nimble, confident, inspiring, it begged me to push harder and harder, So I did. And with top down you were completely immersed in the sights and smells of the giant redwoods - with laser shafts of bright sunlight lancing through the tree cover, the damp mossy air hanging thick and the screem of the flat six echoeing through the canyon walls. Magical.
I hope yours delivers the same sort of experience over and over.

I bought it locally, from the guy who imported it last year along with a Cayenne S. At today's price level for Boxsters in Toronto, I don't think it is worth going south of the border anymore. And yes, it will turn it into some kind of spec inspired car, step by step as my driving skills improve.
I got my 01 Box S from the states in late may, picked it up in early June 2009. Taking a look today at the autotrader.ca website, The prices for 2000-02 Boxsters ( and S's) are pretty good right now in Ontario....
I didn't do worse getting it from the states (Chicago) , but certainly didn't find a huge steal down there..... I might have done a bit better in the states, given I bought it during the 'early' convertible driving season, and today's prices might reflect 'late season prices'
