So I'm at work (at home) and Stef just called me from the garage - she's taking Ramona out to do some errands.

her: "we're taking your car, not the van"
me: "no problem, why?"
her: "Ramona" (hands her the phone)
Ramona: "daddy, we're going in the Porsche! (2 syllables) Not the van! I don't like the van!"



Mmmm... just heard it fire up in the garage and drive away down the court... What a beautiful sound...

 

start 'em young, I say. You've taught Ramona an excellent life lesson. Porsches good, vans bad.

 

My wife loves the Odyssey, but the kids always ask for the Porsche or the BMW. They get their way sometimes...and the smile on their faces when we take either of the German wheels is unmeasurable. The van...has more fancy gadgets in it than what I had growing up....but the kids still prefer the 'good stuff'.

Nice to hear other kids have the same great opportunity!

 

My 20 year old calls it my, 'Fetish Machine'. Well it does wear four black rubber items and it's interior is all leather... Spouse tells her it could be worse...

Well done! My 4 year old also knows how to properly say Porsche too. It's very rewarding when you hear them say it!

My duaghter who is also 3 always says "Dad can we go in your fast car?". I am a little slow on the proper pronunciation.

 

Does your daughter actually say.... "I'm a little slow on the proper pronunciation?" LOL
