Looks like you know a thing or two about detailing! Nice job. Will we see you at the GTG on Saturday?

The tires came with the car - they are awesome - like glue in the corners.

Detailing seems like a bit of a losing battle in Toronto. By the time I get back to my car at the end of the day, it is covered in dirt, sap, rain, etc. I just can't get it to stay clean for more than 5 minutes.

Not able to come out this weekend - I am taking my daughter to camp this weekend (in the mini-van). I hope to get out and meet some of you this summer though.

Thanks again for the nice words everyone. How do I find pictures of everyone else's cars?

You can also thank the colour black. It's one of the hardest colours to keep clean.

Tell me about it. It is my favorite colour for the 993 but it is a challenge to keep it clean!

Dry Wash...never wash your car and super fast and easy. Cleans everything off and leaves a fantastic finish with no silicones.

Damn I sound like a company spokesman.

SHAMWOW!!

Dry Wash - never heard of it - I'll check it out. I do remember the Rambo Dry Shave. that didn't work out so well.

Not available in stores only through dealers, which I am. I started buying it personally because of its effectiveness and after showing some poeple they all wanted it so I became a dealer and started selling it. I'd like to bring it to the next GTG but would feel like a weenie showing it to everyone but if you want I'll bring some. Trust me the stuff is great but it's not cheap, around $20 a bottle.

I googled Dry Wash and came up with everything but "Dry Wash" I got: One Dry Wash, Dri Wash, etc. Which is yours?

(I know it's still new to me but I do sort of like the soap and water wash. Makes it feel like a real project.)

I use Optimum No Rinse. Available at eshine.ca. Basically I can wash my entire car using one bucket of water. Great stuff.

Pongobaz - looks interesting. I'll investigate...

Hey - anybody know what's the best product to get rid of all the fine scratches and swirls in a black car?

I use a PC (Porter Cable) and MaGuire's polish.
I got rid of most micro scratches, but they come back, specially with
poor washing habits.

Most info you need in here:

using a Porter Cable random orbit polisher:
1st step: Optimum Polish - with a orange pad
2nd step: Optimum Poliseal - white pad
3rd step: P21S concours wax - black pad

Go to the concours forum on this site for tons of info.
