Toronto West - Sunday Sunrise Cruise - July5th
Well, the weather forecast is absolutely fantastic for this Sunday so here it is...
Purpose: A leisurely cruise to enjoy our favourite wheels and have a GTG for coffee along the way.
Time: Really Early.... 5:45 am with departure at 6:00 am
(As the sun comes up and we can feel that we own the roads for a brief period of time.) We'll do about an hour of cruising at a leisurely pace with a stop along the way for refreshments/breakfast.
Destination: The hills of Caledon - Details and route map/directions to follow.
Start / Finish Location: Esso Gas Station Parking lot at the corner of Sandalwood and Heart Lake Road in Brampton, immediately off Hwy 410 - Yes There is a Tim Horton's there for a quick brew to get us going.
All Aboard! - See you there .... Glenn

Hey Patchmark: That sounds great. I would love to see the turbo. It is beginning to look like a meeting of 993s. I guess the water pumpers just don't have it in the morning..... or do they? It is going to be a fabulous morning tomorrow. See you there.

I just got back from driving and planning the route for tomorrow. I even rediscovered a couple of interesting roads I had forgotten about. There are plenty of hills, some really nice views and yes lots of twists and turns. The route is 60km. There will also be a limited supply of free home baked breakfast treats. So get out of bed and come and enjoy your car. It should be fun. :-) P.S. If someone has a digital camera that they could bring, this would come in handy. Thank you

Sounds like fun! We haven't met. My wife's car is a 997 coupe. We're in Mississauga.
However, we have other commitments or would love to come out!
We've sometimes been at Chapters for Saturdays but not in this car.
Regards,
DaveL

What a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glen thanks for setting this up. It was nice to meet you and Chris and Tom.
Fantastic driving through the hills of Caledon, 3 993s and a very grumbly '83 930 Turbo.
Definitely have to do this again.

We had a great run this morning- thanks to Glenn for mapping out a really fun route. Nice to meet both Mark and Tom....the sound of Tom's turbo is still ringing in my ears. Here's a few pics:
